During operation, hard particles continuously abrade components such as the rotor blades, the inner walls of the casing, and the side plates; this causes the clearance between the rotor and the casing to widen, leading to air leakage and dust backflow, which in turn impairs conveying and powder separation efficiency.<\/p>\n
To address these operating conditions, the valve blades can be fabricated from or reinforced with wear-resistant steel, and thin wear-resistant liners can be installed on the inner casing walls to enhance resistance to abrasive wear and erosion. Mitigating wear on critical components helps maintain optimal operating clearances over the long term, reduces the risk of air leakage, extends equipment service life, and decreases the frequency of maintenance and replacement.<\/p>\n
